To be eligible to hire a vehicle, all drivers/hirers must meet the following requirements:
1. Age
- Must be between 25 and 75 years old.
2. Driving Licence
- Must hold a full and valid UK driving licence with a minimum of 3 years' driving experience.
3. Documentation
- Must provide:
- A copy of their photocard driving licence, and
- Three current utility bills (with matching name and address).
4. DVLA Licence Check
- Must complete and share the DVLA "View and Share Your Licence" link with us.
- This is required to verify driving history and penalty points.
- Please note: More than 3 penalty points or any driving ban within the last 10 years may require further insurance approval.

5. Pending Offences
- Must declare all pending motoring and non-motoring offences, including any incidents not yet formally charged.
6. Medical Fitness
- Must not be driving against medical advice.
- Any relevant medical conditions must be declared to the DVLA where required.
7. Accidents/Claims History
- Must declare all accidents or claims in the last 3 years, including non-fault claims.
8. Prohibited Uses
- The vehicle must not be used for any of the following purposes:
a. Carriage of passengers for hire or reward
b. Transporting hazardous goods
c. Driving in or around hazardous locations (e.g., restricted airport zones or airside areas)
